Well, no worries - we'll show you how you can easily answer that question.
With Expo Pass Analytics, you have access to a live view of your event numbers for Attendees with badges printed and total badges printed.

View Your Live Badge Print Analytics
With Expo Pass Analytics, you can get a live view of your event data! To view the Badge Print Analytics, follow the steps below:
1. Start by logging into your event on Expo Pass.
2. Select your event.
3. On the left-hand side of the screen, you will see Analytics. Click on View Badge Prints:
4. From here you will be able to adjust the date and time window that you would like displayed on the graph. You will also view the following data points:
Attendee Prints During The Event: This is how many attendees had a badge printed
Total Printed: This is the total number of badges printed, including testing and reprints
5 minute Average: What is the average
Busiest Hour: When was the busiest hour of badges being printed
Most Printed Badge: If you have multiple formed badges, which was printed the most.
Attendees Remaining: How many attendees do not have a badge printed that are in your event
Percent Printed: Total percentage of attendees with badges printed for your event
Unique Badge Prints vs. Total Printed: Unique badge prints reflect the count of actual attendees with a badge, while the total printed includes reprints and test badges. This distinction ensures accurate reporting against your attendee total.
💡 Note: This data automatically updates every 2 minutes during the event. To interpret the metrics accurately: the top number represents unique badge prints, and the bottom number includes all reprints and test badges.
Counting Methodology and Metric Interpretation in Expo Pass Analytics
Understanding how badge printing data is counted is important for accurate analytics management. Key distinctions include:
Unique Badge Prints: Only count towards contracted attendance totals. Reprints or test badges are excluded from this figure.
Total Badge Prints: Includes all test badges and reprints, reflecting a more inclusive count.
By focusing on these metrics, you can accurately assess attendee engagement and manage the printing process.

Pull and Export a Badge Print Report
1. Start by logging into your event on Expo Pass.
2. Click the Attendees section.
3. Click Filters to narrow the list :
Column: Badge Print Count
Operator: = (equal to)
Value: 1
4. Once done, click "Apply" and the data table will refresh.
5. Once the report refreshes, it will populate the Attendee Data Table with the names and dates of all the attendee badges that have been printed, how many reprint each attendee has had, and the actual number of attendees with badges printed here.
If you would like to Bookmark this report to refer to later, click Bookmark.
Add a Name to Bookmark and click Create Bookmark.
Now you can refer back to this bookmark at any time by clicking Bookmark and selecting the bookmark you saved.
View and Export the Onsite Badge Print List
Looking for the fastest way to see your total badge print count and grab a complete print log? The Onsite Badge Print List gives you a live, print-by-print record you can search, filter, count, and export as a CSV in just a couple of clicks.
Start by logging into your event on Expo Pass.
Select your event.
On the left-hand side of the screen, click Onsite, then Badge Prints.
The Badge Print List displays every badge printed for your event, with columns for Attendee, Print Date, Attendee ID, Print Number, Badge, and Lane.
Your total badge print count is shown at the bottom of the list — for example, "Showing 1 - 25 of 174." That total reflects every badge printed, including reprints and test prints.
Use Search by attendee to jump to a specific person, or Filters to narrow the list (for example, by lane or badge type).
Click Refresh Data during a live event to pull in the most recent prints.
To export the full list, click All at the bottom of the screen so it reads "Selected 174 of 174." This selects every record across all pages — not just the 25 shown on the current page.
Click Export in the top-right corner to download your report as a CSV file.
FAQs on Badge Printing
1. Do test badge prints impact my contracted attendee badge total?
No, test prints do not impact your attendee total; only unique badge prints count.
2. Why does Live Analytics seem to show more badges than attendees?
The bottom number includes all badges printed, such as test badges and reprints, while the top number reflects only unique badge prints.
Pull a Report of Attendees that have NOT yet had their badge printed
1. Start by logging into your event on Expo Pass.
2. Click the Attendees section.
3. Now click Filter selector
Select the "BADGE PRINT COUNT" option, the "EQUALS" option and then note "0". Once done, click "Apply" and the data table will refresh.
4. Once the report refreshes, it will populate the Attendee Data Table with the names of all the attendee that have NOT YET had a badge printed.
5. Now you can Save the Link to the report for later and/or Export your Data Report:
