Send Attendees a Mobile Magic Link (In-Person Events)

How to send your attendees a Mobile Magic Link for access to your in-person event on the Mobile App.

Need to give your attendees access to your in-person event in the Mobile App? That's easy! Send a Mobile Magic Link to your attendees before your event begins, and they can explore your schedule, add sessions to their my schedule, see who's speaking, and even check out the Exhibitors.

Before getting started, make sure you have turned on the proper Event Settings to ensure your attendees are able to access your event through their Magic Link.

❗ Important: If you do not enable Mobile App Access, your attendee will get into the Mobile App, but not see your event.


Mobile Magic Links (In-Person Events Only)

Now that your event is live with Attendee Mobile App Access turned ON, you can get the Magic Links to your attendees a few different ways:

Mobile Magic Links in Registration Confirmation Emails:

If you are using Expo Pass for Registration, you can include your Mobile Magic Links in the confirmation email.

πŸ’‘ Note: Anyone that registers AFTER the date and time you selected will receive a Mobile Magic Link in their Registration Confirmation email.

Anyone that registered BEFORE this was enabled will need to receive a Magic Link through the Event Reminder Email or have one Manually sent

1. Login to Expo Pass and choose your event

2. Under the Details section click on Event Settings

3. While we're here, ensure that Attendee Mobile App Access is toggled ON.

πŸ‘‰ The date and time you choose to turn ON Mobile App Access must be BEFORE the date and time you choose to have your Magic Links be distributed.

4. Click on the Emails tab at the top

5. Toggle Confirmation Emails Enabled to ON

6. Toggle Include Mobile Magic Links to ON and select your future date and time.

7. Click Save


Mobile Magic Links in the Event Reminder Email

The Event Reminder is how each attendee that is in Expo Pass will receive their unique Magic Links via email from support@exposent.com at a scheduled date and time.

1. Login to Expo Pass and choose your event

2. Under the Details section click on Event Settings

3. While we're here, ensure that Attendee Mobile App Access is toggled ON.

πŸ‘‰ The date and time you choose to turn ON Mobile App Access must be BEFORE the date and time you choose to have your Magic Links be distributed.

4. Click on the Emails tab at the top

5. Toggle Event Reminder Email to ON and select your future date and time.

6. Toggle Include Mobile Magic Link to ON

6. Click Save


Manually Send Mobile Magic Links

Lastly, you can always send out a Mobile Magic Link manually via the Attendee Data table up to 20 at a time.
