Occasionally, you might receive instructions to "force close" the Expo Pass mobile app and then reopen it. This action initiates a data synchronization between the iPad and the database.
It's important to note that "force closing" the mobile app is distinct from simply logging out. Specifically for the iPad Kiosks used for badge printing, please avoid logging off the app without first consulting the Event Success team.
FORCE CLOSE APP
Double-click the Home button to bring up the app switcher.
2. In the app switcher, you'll see a list of recently used apps. Swipe the Expo Pass mobile app icon up until it disappears from the screen. This action will force the app to close.
3. Relaunch the Expo Pass mobile app on the home screen and click on "Enter Kiosk Mode" to return to the Check-In screen.
