ⓘ This article is for Event Organizers
You've created your Registration Form(s) in Expo Pass. Now what?
There are four options to get your Registration Form out to your potential registrants.
Each has a different client experience, so read on to understand the differences.
At Expo Pass, we intentionally do not allow logos, custom graphics, or visual customization within the registration form itself. Here’s why:
Your Event Site Already Does the Heavy Lifting
The registration form is typically launched from your event website, which already carries your full branding — logos, color palette, messaging, imagery, and all. Whether it’s embedded directly, opened via a hyperlink, or (our preferred method) displayed as a lightbox overlay on your site, the branding is already front and center where it matters.
Consistency + Clarity = Higher Conversions
Customizing the form itself introduces clutter, layout inconsistencies, and design conflicts that can cause confusion or friction for the registrant. A clean, streamlined interface removes distractions and keeps the focus on completing the form quickly and easily.
Performance, Responsiveness & Maintenance
A standardized form ensures mobile optimization, faster load times, and fewer tech headaches. When forms are customized, it often leads to breakage on different browsers or devices — and that’s not something we’re willing to risk for your attendees.
Focus on Function, Let Design Live Where It Belongs
We believe in putting visual effort where it actually adds value: on your website, landing page, and marketing materials. The form’s job is purely transactional — to gather clean, accurate data, not to dazzle.
Registration Form incorporated as a Lightbox on your website
Expo Pass suggests using this experience as it is the best for registrants.

Registration Form URL
From Expo Pass you can retrieve your Registration Form URL, which can be shared/distributed to your potential registrants via email (we suggest a hyperlink) or you can simply add this link to your website.
1. Got to the Share Form in the Registration Section, click "Preview"
2. Your Registration Form will appear and the URL is in the upper left-hand corner.
Registration Form embedded on your website
You can embed the entire registration form on your website.

Use Expo's templated Hosted Registration Webpage
This option works for companies who do not have their own website and would like a Hosted Page where you can have basic event information and registration.
