Event Home 1.0

Event Home 2.0

Navigate to app.expopass.com and login to your Expo Pass account.

If you event is already Live, click on 'Enter'. If your event is upcoming, click on 'Details'. Please note that clicking on 'Edit Event' throughout your virtual event will bring you to the Expo Pass Legacy Platform. This is where you created and built out your event.


Event Home 1.0

In the top right corner, switch from 'Default View' to 'Edit Mode'.

All areas that can be edited will be highlighted and have a pencil icon to click on. Anything that does not have a pencil icon has to be edited on the Expo Pass Legacy Platform.

Below is what each editable area is:

Event Time: This is the start time of your entire event.

Event Logo: This can be your company or event logo. It should be a minimum of 300x300 pixels with a 1:1 aspect ratio. The format should be JPEG or PNG.

Event Banner: This is the banner image that will display across your event.

It should be an abstract image without text or logos. It needs to be a minimum of 1600x900 pixels with a 16:9 aspect ratio. The image format should be JPEG or PNG.

Click 'Select', upload your file, and then click on the file once it's done uploading. It will have a green check on it if it's been selected. Press 'Save'.

About: This is a brief welcome message about your event. It can also be used as an announcement board. It does support text and HTML links, but we do not currently support adding images or videos here.

Event Home Video: This is a space to add a welcome video. The video file should be in .mov or .mp4 format.

Click 'Select', upload your file, and then click on the file once it's done uploading. It will have a green check on it if it's been selected. Press 'Save'. Please note that while uploading, larger files may take longer.

The 'Preview Image' is the image that will display when the video is not being played.

About: This about section is an area to write 1-2 sentences to draw Attendees to the Sessions list by clicking on 'Explore' just above it.

Once you are finished editing the Event Home Page, toggle from 'Edit Mode' to 'Default View' to see what it looks like.

Pre-Event, During Event, and Post-Event Templates

The Event Home 2.0 has three different views: Pre-Event, During Event, and Post-Event. Each focuses on a different area of the home page to make the attendee experience even better!

The interface view will change automatically as follows:

  • From Pre-Event to During Event at midnight the morning of your event.

  • From During Event to Post-Event at midnight the morning after your event.

**Note - There is no ability to schedule these at this time or opt-out of any one view.

To navigate through the different templates, click on the menu in the top right corner and select the view you would like.

Within each view, you can now edit the Welcome Message and Welcome Video to be unique to each view -- OR you can apply the same message and video to all views.

*NOTE: The Welcome Message and Welcome Video MUST be saved individually within each template if you want them all to be unique. You can navigate through them using the Template menu shown below:

EDIT: In the top right corner of your page you will find the Edit button. This is how you will be able to see all of the editable items within the page that you are on in the Web App. When you are done, simply click on DONE, you will return to the full view of the page.

*NOTE: The new banner image for Event Home 2.0 is dynamic and thus needs to be abstract WITHOUT any logos or text.


Pre-Event:

During the Pre-Event view, the Event Home 2.0 focuses on the Welcome Message, Video, Resources. Attendees can also see an overview of the Event Schedule on the calendar widget.

During Event:

In the During Event view, the Event Home 2.0 focuses on the Event Schedule, highlighting the Sessions that are Live, making it easy for attendees to navigate to them.

Post-Event:

In the Post-Event view, the Event Home 2.0 has a completely new look. On Demand videos are available to watch after the event and are listed at the top of the page. Any Other sessions without post-event videos are listed below the on-demand sessions, so attendees can still access needed materials and session information.
