This article is for Event Organizers

The Expo Pass Onsite Premium Badge Printing experience makes it easy for Attendees to check in and print their badge. Now, at the Event Organizer's discretion, they can also enable additional interactions at the iPad kiosk for their Attendees and allow them to edit some of their data, ( name, company, position, etc.).

Edit Attendee Data

Allow Attendees to make edits to the registration data entered in Expo Pass while they are at the iPad Kiosk and before they print their badge.

Any fields that are on the badge will be available for the attendee to edit at the kiosk on Check-In.

Organizer Setup Process

When your iPad Kiosks are shipped out, they are set with an Admin Passcode (which are usually are the same as your case combination locks). However, if you need to reset your Admin Passcodes.

  1. Contact the Expo Pass Event Success Team to have them enable the "Editing Attendee during Check-In" feature for your event.

  2. Once this feature has been enabled, you will need to access the Admin Toolkit on the iPad kiosk.

    1. Log in to the Expo Pass app on the iPad

    2. Click ENTER on your event

  3. Click on the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Admin Toolkit to enable the "Set Kiosk Passcode" option.

For more information on this process, please refer to this Help Center Article:

Onsite Attendee Experience

  1. Locate the iPad Registration kiosk at the event venue and Tap on the "Check-In" option to initiate the process.

  2. Enter name using the on-screen keyboard to search for their registration.

  3. Once name is found, a pencil icon will appear next to the badge image in the upper right-hand corner indicating the ability to edit their information. To make changes, tap on the pencil icon and enter the passcode provided by the event organizer.

  4. The Event Organizer will then need to enter the programmed Admin Passcode OR provide the Passcode for the Attendee to enter themself.

  5. You can now edit or update any of the fields presented. After making the necessary changes, click SAVE.

  6. Expo Pass will quickly generate a new badge with the updated information. You can then proceed to print your badge!

Important: If there are no changes to make, then the Attendee should follow the traditional check-in process without editing any information
