This article is for Event Organizers

Need to immediately close a specific registration level while your event is live?
You can do that in just a few steps — directly within the Email Verification settings for that registration level.

This approach represents just one of several registration management options available in the system.

How to Manually Close a Registration Level

  1. Log into Expo Pass and select your event.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Registration ➜ Manage Form.

  3. Locate the registration level you want to close and click on it.

  4. Click Edit next to Email Verification.

  5. In the Member Verification section:

    • Enter any first name, last name, and email address (this can be your own).

    • Click Add Member.

  6. Click Next to save your changes.

Automatically Closing Registration

To ensure registrations close automatically at a predetermined time, you can set a closing date for the form:

  1. Go to your event's Registration section.

  2. Click on Manage Form.

  3. Enable the Add Closing Date option.

  4. Select the desired closing date using the calendar tool.

  5. Click Update Closing Date to save your changes. The registration form will automatically close once the set date and time are reached.

👉 Once saved, this registration level will now be locked to only that email address — making it inaccessible to all other registrants.

  • Effectively, this closes the registration level while still keeping it visible for internal use if needed.

Tips for Managing Registration Effectively

  • Plan Closing Dates Wisely: Setting appropriate registration deadlines ensures smoother organization and planning for your event.

  • Double-Check Settings: Always verify that changes to registration settings are saved and active, especially when adjusting dates or levels.

  • Communicate Updates: Inform potential attendees about reopening or closing registration to avoid confusion.
