How to Set Your Expo Pass Password

Once you have accessed your Expo Pass event via the Magic Link in your email, you are successfully authenticated in the Attendee App or via a Web Browser. While a Magic Link provides instant access, creating a password allows you to log in manually across all devices in the future.

Before getting started, please note the following:

❗️ Password must be:

  • minimum of 8 digits, AND

  • at least one uppercase letter, AND

  • one lowercase letter, AND

  • one number

Attendee App: Create a Password

If you are accessing your event in Expo Pass via a mobile app that has been downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, please follow the steps noted below (after having accessed your event through a Mobile Magic Link):

1. Click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner.

2. Click "EDIT" next to your name that appears at the top.

3. Enter your new password (twice) and click "SAVE"

4. You will receive a confirmation notice, "Your application profile has been updated," so then click "Ok"

5. Click on the hamburger menu in the top left corner, and then click back into "Events"

Web Browser: Create a Password

If you are accessing your event in Expo Pass via a web browser, either on your mobile device or from a desktop, please follow the steps noted below.

Once you have received your Magic Link, and are on the Event Home Page, you can now enter a Password if you would like to login next time you come back to the event:

1) In the top-right corner (where your initials are), you’ll see a red exclamation point. Click this icon; the layout is identical on both desktop and mobile."

2) Click on "Security"

3) Enter your new password (twice) and click "SAVE"

You can now login to your event using the same email you used to register (the email that you received your Magic Link with) and the Password you've just created.
