Enable Attendee Web App Access

Here is how to turn on web app access for your Virtual event to go live for atttendee access.

With the Expo Pass Web App, your attendees can easily:

  • View important event contacts

  • Customize their personal session schedule

  • Browse all available sessions

  • Learn about speakers and exhibitors

If you’re hosting a Virtual Event or Hybrid Event, you’ll want to turn on Web App Access so attendees can participate online!

Before You Start

✅ Decide whether you want attendees to access the Web App.
✅ Choose the date and time you want the Web App to go live.

If you don’t want Virtual Attendee access, simply leave this setting OFF.


Steps to Enable Web App Access

This is what transitions the Web App portion of your event for virtual events from "draft mode" (not accessible by attendees) to ON or accessible by registered attendees.

1. Open Your Event

2. Go to Event Settings

  • Click Event Settings from the left-hand navigation menu.

3. Turn on Web App Access

  • Under the General section, find Attendee Web App Access.

  • Toggle the switch to ON.

4. Set Your Go-Live Date and Time

  • Choose the exact date and time when you want the Web App to be accessible to attendees.

5. Save Your Changes

  • Click Save.

✅ Once saved, the Attendee Access Indicator at the top of your screen will show a color status:

Color

Status

🔴 Red

Attendee Access is OFF

🟡 Yellow

Access is scheduled to go live later

🟢 Green

Attendee Access is ON
