How to create session feedback for your in-person mobile app events.

Obtain important feedback from Session Attendees with a customizable post-session feedback form.Β 

πŸ‘‰ The Session Feedback feature is only available for attendees using the Mobile App. This does not work for Virtual Events.

πŸ’‘ KEY TERMS:

  • Registrant: A person who has added a session to their My Schedule and shows interest in attending.

    • A registrant is also someone who has purchased an add-on session when registering for the event.

  • Attendee: A person who has been scanned into a session or has been manually added as an "Attendee" to a session by an Event Organizer.


Creating Session Feedback Questions

1. Login with your credentials into the Expo Pass Classic choose the appropriate event.

2. Click the β€œSessions” tab on the left-hand menu, click into the Session you would like to add feedback for.

3. Click the β€œEdit” tab in the upper right hand section to edit your Session Details.

4. On the bottom portion of the Session Details form, you will find a β€œSession Feedback” section:

  • Add free form, single select, or multiple select question types.


Session Feedback Attendee Experience

All Registrants and Attendees can do a "Session Feedback" from 5 minutes before the Session End Time through infinity (as long as that Session lives in an active Expo Pass Event).

❗ Important: Only Registrants and Attendees can do a "Session Feedback" from 5 minutes before the Session End Time through infinity (as long as that Session lives in an active Expo Pass Event).

This means if someone does not have the session on their My Schedule or has not been scanned into a session as an attendee, they will not be able to utilize the Session Feedback feature.

  • At 10 minutes prior to the Session End Time, a person attending the event loses the ability to go into a session on the Mobile App and click "Add to Schedule". From this point on, an Event Organizer will need to manually add a person as a Registrant or Attendee to the session for them to fill out the feedback. (Here is how to do that)

The only was that a Registrant becomes an Attendee without an Event Organizer manually doing it, is through being scanned into a session through the QR Code on their badge using Expo Pass' Session Tracking feature.

5 Minutes before the Session ends, the Session Feedback will become available in Mobile App Session "PROVIDE FEEDBACK:
