Hosted Registration Webpage (Public Event Page)

Event organizers can now build and publish their own public event page - also called a hosted registration webpage - directly in Expo Pass. If you don't have a website for your event, this page hosts your event details and lets attendees register from it.

What the public event page is

The public event page is a ready-made webpage for your event that you build and publish yourself — no separate website, and no request to the Expo Pass team. Attendees can view your event details and register directly from the page.

You can add and customize sections such as:

  • Company logo and event banner

  • Event title, date, and description

  • A Register / Login bar and a countdown to the event

  • Speakers, FAQs, and a features grid

  • Custom content blocks and a links bar

  • A contact form, cookie banner, and footer

You can keep more than one design version and choose which one goes live.

Open the page builder

From the left-hand menu, go to Registration → Manage Public Event Page. This opens the Public Event Page Settings screen, where you manage your design versions and publish settings.

Create a page design

  1. In the Enter New Design Version Name field, type a name for this version (for example, a theme or draft name).

  2. Click Create New Page Design.

Your new design appears in the list with Publish, Preview, Rename, Design, and Delete buttons, and a Publish Settings panel opens on the right. You can create more than one design version and switch between them.

Design and build your page

Click Design on your version (or Edit inside the builder) to open the page builder.

The page builder, with editable sections and the top toolbar

In the builder you can:

  • Switch between Desktop and Mobile previews using the toggle at the top.

  • Hover over any section and click the pencil icon to edit it, or the eye icon to show or hide it.

  • Click the + button between sections to add a new section (speakers, FAQ, custom block, links bar, and more).

  • Click Save in the top right as you go.

Editing a section opens a simple editor. Text sections — such as the event description or a custom block — include a rich-text toolbar for formatting, links, and images.

Style your page (Style Settings)

Click Style Settings in the top toolbar to change the page's look.

  • Pick one of the Style Templates (Default, Midnight Pro, Corporate Trust, Warm Editorial, Forest Calm, or Golden Noir) for a curated color and type preset.

  • Or turn on Advanced Styling to control theme colors and tokens manually.

Click Apply Styles to save your choice.

Global Settings

Click Global Settings in the top toolbar to set page-wide options:

  • Search Engine Optimization — Meta Title, Meta Description, and Meta Keywords so search engines can index your page.

  • Advanced SEO & Social Sharing — a canonical URL and Open Graph fields (social title, description, and image) that control how the page previews on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms.

  • Privacy Policy — enable a Privacy Policy link in the page footer.

Click Save Changes when you're done.

Preview and Publish

Before going live, click Preview (or use the Desktop / Mobile toggle) to see the page exactly as attendees will.

When you're ready to make it live:

  1. On the Public Event Page Settings screen, click Publish on the design you want. This sets it as the Active Design.

  2. In the Publish Settings panel on the right, confirm the Active Design, set an optional Expires at date, and set the Custom URL Ending (Slug) for your page's web address.

  3. Click Save Publish Settings.

The design shows a green LIVE badge and the panel confirms your public event page is LIVE. Your shareable address appears under Page URL.

Note: The Register button becomes active once your event's registration is fully set up under Registration.

Share, embed, or unpublish

Once the page is live, you can:

  • Share it — click Open to view the live page, or Copy to copy the Page URL and send it to attendees.

  • Embed it — open the design and click Embed Code to embed the page on another website.

  • Unpublish it — click Unpublish to take the page down. (A design can't be deleted while it's live.)

While a design is live, the builder opens in Live (read-only) mode. Unpublish it to make further edits, or edit a different design version and publish that one instead.
