If you have used a registration process outside of Expo Pass and you intend to leverage Expo's Premium Onsite Badge Printing experience, then you will need to upload your attendees. Here is the process to upload attendees into the platform, which requires the use of a custom Attendee ID.
Please start by reviewing this Help Article: Uploading an Attendee List
When following this process, you will need to check the box "Use a custom Attendee ID number"
First Name, Last Name and Attendee ID # are required to be uploaded into the system. Please note that custom Attendee ID #s must be unique, meaning duplicates will not be permitted. If email addresses are uploaded, those too must be unique to each attendee (no duplicates).
For the custom Attendee ID it must be alpha/numeric (no special symbols) and we highly recommend an ID that is between 5 - 10 digits in length. Here is an example of a custom Attendee ID that can be easily built out for each attendee:
KP1001 followed by KP1002, followed by KP1003, and so on.
NOTE: Once an attendee has been uploaded with a custom Attendee ID, they are tied to that ID, meaning if you do a second or third upload to override previously loaded information, the person must use the same Attendee ID that was previously uploaded (to avoid duplicating Attendees in your data set).
Pro Tips:
Check to make sure that there are no trailing spaces in your data fields. To easily address this concern, perform the TRIM function on each column.
If uploading a State, you must also include a column for "Country"
If uploading a phone number, make sure to follow this format: 234-555-1234. Do not include "( )" in the area code and do not include "1-" for U.S. phone numbers.
For Badge Printing Clients only: when uploading attendee data to Expo Pass, only include the data needed to imprint on the badge.
